Our Philosophy

At Relative Counseling, we believe that healing is deeply personal—and always relative. No two journeys are the same. That’s why our approach meets you exactly where you are. We understand that your story, your relationships, and your environment all shape how you heal. We don’t believe in fixing—we believe in uncovering, understanding, and empowering.

We offer a quiet, grounded space in a world full of noise—so you can finally hear yourself again.

About The CEO

I’m Keena White, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in New Jersey and a current Doctoral Student in Psychology. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside individuals and families through seasons of uncertainty, growth, and healing.

I created Relative Counseling to be more than just a therapy office—it’s a space where clients can reconnect with themselves and professionals can be part of something meaningful. My work is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, biopsychosocial assessments, mindfulness, and co-regulation techniques. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and anger, with a focus on working with individuals who have ADHD, are on the autism spectrum, or are navigating complex parent-child relationships.

But what makes this space different is how we care.

My approach is relational, collaborative, and human. I meet clients where they are, without judgment, and work with them to develop realistic goals that evolve as they do. Therapy here is never one-size-fits-all—it’s tailored, thoughtful, and grounded in both science and soul. When appropriate, I integrate spiritual and holistic elements to support whole-person healing.

My hope is for you to walk away from this space with more clarity, deeper self-trust, and real-life tools that help you feel empowered—long after therapy ends.
